OUR wedding album this week will take a look at the special day of Cumbrian couple Amy Stewart and Paul Bell.
Amy and Paul live in Carlisle and Amy is a carer whilst Paul is an HGV driver.
The pair met when using BBM twelve years ago and they got engaged at Penny Blue in the Halston Hotel in Carlisle back in July 2020.
The venue for the wedding was the Lady Gilford Registration office and they chose a rustic theme.
Amy wore the Madaline dress from Wed to Be with a villa veil. Her hair was done by Mandy Roberts of Scissor Sisters and her makeup was done by Beauty by Katie.
Her bridesmaids were 13 year old Daisy Stewart, her daughter, Mia Rose Stewart, 11, her daughter, Ronnie Heather Stewart, 7, also her daughter and Daisy Tomlinson, 14, a family member. All of the bridesmaids’ dresses were bought from ASOS.
Paul’s groomsmen were Daniel Stewart, 34, his brother in law and Oliver Stewart, 5, his step son.
The bride and her mother made the flowers for the occasion. They were also transported that day by an ivory imperial car from Cumbria Classic Wedding Cars.
Their reception was held at the Pine Grove and around 80 guests attended. The favors for the day were Macmillan Owl Badges and in-house catering was supplied that day by the Pine Grove.
The wedding cake was made by Sandra Grears, a family friend, and was a naked, rustic, cake.
Their first song was a Shania Twain medley of From This Moment on and Your Still The One by Caleb and Kelsey. The entertainment was provided by Madison’s Entertainment.
The photographer for the couple’s special day was Stephen Rowell and they chose not to have a videographer.
The couple have not booked a honeymoon yet.
